Day 1(friday):
called spikes at 11AM. Talked to Garrett about a 16" barrled AR with heavy barrel and midlength gas system. I told him I wanted a free float tube on it that had a rail on a 45 on the right side for flip ups. He said no problem let me check and see if we have any tubes left "I WILL CALL YOU BACK IN 30 MINUTES"

4 Hours later I called him back. Got his voicemail, in the message I left I said if its before 5pm call me at work on the following number and if its after 5pm call me on my cell.

No call at work. I leave work and there is a message on my cell from him well before 5pm. He stated he got my message and he had the tube and could have the gun together pretty quick for me and to email him over the weekend or call him on Monday and we could get the payment in and the FFL faxed. Irritated at this point because he couldnt follow directions, but I emailed him anyway.

So just to confirm what I am wanting. Flat top upper with a 5.56 16" heavy barrel with mid length gas system threaded for flash hider.
Smooth free float tube with low profile gas block. Drilled and tapped for rails on a 45 degree angle for flip ups. The lower will
be the standard that is on your M4 with the 6 position stock. No color fill.

Is it at all possible to get a picture of the free float tube?

I know my price on the standard M4 was $XXX, let me know what the up charge is for the barrel and tube.

Also the build time and deposit.


I wont be around the shop monday so email me back with all the info monday and I will call you tuesday

No return email!

Day 4(monday):
SO I called and got his voicemail again. I left a message making sure he recieved my email. No return call. I faxed our FFL to him (hoping that would light a fire and show him I am 100% serious here). No return call.

Day 5(tuesday):
I called again and got his voicemail, left a message. No return call or email. At this point I am trying to PAY FOR A PRODUCT.

Day 7(thursday):
called again, voicemail. NO MESSAGE LEFT THIS TIME.

Thursday afternoon, called a friend in FL who ownes a gun store. He had a midlength 16" HBAR RRA in stock new. Faxed him our FFL payed over the phone with card. Recieved my rifle the following tuesday morning from UPS at 10AM

I am done with spikes after this. I can see getting busy but how long does it take to send an email or a voicemail saying hey im real busy give me a few days to get back to you????

I still have not recieved and email or phone call from Garrett or Spike or anyone else from there. I guess they dont want my money.
