    Default Rainier Arms XTC Compensator

John from Rainier Arms just sent me a Xtreme Tactical Compensator to try out! I think I'm going to put it on my current build.

    Thanks John!

Looks bad ***. Let us know how what you think after you get rounds down range.

I know this is an old post, but seeing how they just dropped the price $20, I might have to find something else to put one on.

I just seen they dropped the price on Facebook!

Heck, I still haven't assembled the rifle yet. I hope to get that done this weekend.

I put one on my 20" barrel'd rifle a couple weeks ago, worked great, seems to work as good as the fsc556, and almost half the price, still haven't tried it at night. Gonna pick up another stripped DD lower tomorrow and I'll have more excuses to buy another xtc, already have one dd lower starting to collect dust. Thinking about doing one of those smartgunner build your own DD uppers.

How were your follow up shots? Let me know how it does at night.

The DD lowers are nice! I got one from them last year to use on a build. I live about 20 min from DD

Follow up shots were great and much quicker, much louder...but quicker. At 25yds offhand, front sight was moving about 3" up and to the right from the recoil between shots, before i added the xtc it was off paper. Plus I'm not used to shooting a rifle that weight, with more practice it would have been less than that, but this rifle has the A.R.M.S. 59c mount and is heavy as hell, going to be a bench gun.

Pretty close, one thing that stands out on the XTC is the second hole on the top right of the comp, compensates for the up/right pull of the rifle. Seems to work great.
