Thread: Finally Got her finished...I think

Thanks to Chris for actually selling me one of his personal bipods at the augusta gun show, Deff. some of the best customer service you'll ever find. Luckily, my buddy Daniel ordered a scope and decided he wanted a 30mm tube instead of a 1", so I bought the Weaver Grandslam 3-10x40 with mil-dot reticle from him. I think the rifle turned out awesome, now just gotta head to the range with it.

How do you like the scope?

Love it, extremely clear. I like it as much as any of the higher end scopes I've used. Looks like it's built really nice and the price can't be beat.

Heavy, lol, but it's gotta be the most solid rail on the market, thing is built like a tank. Most people find it out-dated, but It's one of my favorites. Going to buy the carbine length one soon for my SHTF rifle.

Yeah, If you're going for that lightweight build, this aint the rail system for ya, but if you want something that you can put through all hell and then run it over, this is it.

my barrel is extremely heavy. and it puts the balance too far forward. I need to lighten that end as much as possible. either that or put a weight in the stock, which I would prefer not to do....
