    Default 7.62x40 ??

Anyone on here shot one yet or have any thoughts about the 7.62x40. Going to do another rifle build after my wedding and probably going to do a 6.8, but thinking about this now.

I've got to do a little more research, but this is looking like it may be my next build, really gotta read more and see how it really stacks up to the 6.8.

    7.62x40 WT (16” Barrel)
110 gr: 2450 FPS Muzzle Velocity and 1466 Foot Pounds of Energy

    6.8 SPC (16” Barrel
110 gr: 2550 FPS Muzzle Velocity and 1594 Foot Pounds of Energy

I'll stay with the 6.8 for the 100 FPS advantage.

I guess I'll have to just do both, Lol. Still very interested in this round, didn't realize how new it was, ill probably start the 6.8 first and see where this goes.
