my year so fare with only 2 doe days left? 0 as in none as in i havnt shot a single deer

2008- The Final Chapter.......

My wife hasnt got to go very much after she downed a few hogs early in the season and I was hoping today would be the day. It was her first day hunting in over a month. We went to a crossing I have sat a few times this year.
About 5:15 2 deer come running up to about 10 yds of us. I tell her get ready...a doe steps out that I can see(15yds away) but is a blur to the wife. The doe sees us and bust across the road just as the wife shoots....a clean miss....
I reload and she's excited.... I tell her there's another still here, get ready. A few minutes later I hear it coming and its 20 yds broadside in the road. She makes a perfect shot and gets her first deer, a button buck. It is a great ending to our season in SC.
