I'll give you a tip that always worked for me at the Dugout pond. Ask the dude at the front for some crawdads, they always have some that come in with the minnows. Go down to the pond right in front of the building and throw the hooked crawdad about 20 feet out from the little feeder pipe that comes out of the building. You will catch one with every cast.
