Thread: Kelly's first BASS!!

Well, on our honeymoon, kelly wanted to learn how to fish, so I got her a reel and rod set up and she loved it. Well Wed. she wanted to fish in our pond, after a few minutes I got a nice little 4 lb bass, she thought it was awesome and was talking about how big it was, as I was telling her that there should be bigger ones in there, she had one hit her lure, and this is what she had, I didn't even help her at all, she got it in on her own. 9lbs, 3 oz. a little under 23 1/2 " and the mount will be done in september sometime, going to be a long wait, but the guy isn't charging me, plus he's doing a real mount, using the actual fish skin and fins, instead of just a replica mount like the new ones are.

Wow! That's a nice bass.


Ok, when do we get to come fish.......

whenever you feel like driving this far...can't promise a bass like that, first one that big I've seen come out of the pond, but you can catch all the bream you can eat in less than an hour.
