Default Anyone Own a Millett DMS-1?

I'd like to hear anything you have to say about it if you do.

I had one in a LaRue SPR-E mount on my 458 socom. Heres my impressions

    Good:
    Cheap
    Clear reticle
true 1-4, you can shoot both eyes open at 1x

    Bad:
    Big
    heavy
Battery life isn't great and its easy to accidently leave it on
turret that adjusts magnification is stiff as hell so you can't swith from 1 to 4x and back quickly, which kinda negates the point of a 1-4 power scope.
    Reticle is pretty much useless.

If I was buying a 1-4 right now it would probably be the Burris

The Burris costs more though =(

Yeah Battery life is like 50 hours, so with the spare it's 100 hours.

I guess a cat tail might fix the magnification.

    Thanks for those words.
