Default Thinking about getting a .22

I was thinking about my "toys" earlier and realized that the only .22s or rimfires in general that I own is a .22 mag ruger single six that my Grandfather gave me when I was 11. I really need to get something that my fiance can learn on and I can plink/practice with. She has shot ARs quite a few times and she can hit clays at 100yds all day.... as long as she has a bench, a rest, and a scope. So I'm going to get a .22lr for her to use until she finishes her AR...plus it's a good excuse for me to get one. I just haven't decided on which one to get, 10/22 or a remington 597 ???

I actually looked at a cz455 22lr/17hmr combo that was around $450, and almost got it, it would be perfect for her to learn on, but I'd really love to have a semi that way I can get some practice getting quicker transitioning between targets. If I really start enjoying the .22, I'll probably end up moving up to a nicer cz bolt gun later, the ones I keep hearing about on here seem to be awesome shooters.

Ok, went to the gun show today, and almost got me a saiga that had already been converted with all the tapco goodies, buttstock, pistol grip, handguards and vfg for $550 but couldn't decide on which caliber..so I just left and went and bought this instead...might still get a CZ later, but this'll do while I'm saving money towards my 6.8 build.

I honestly forget the name of the vendor, but he had about 6 of each caliber in all the cool colors, it was a gunrunners show, first gunrunners show i've been too, but actually a really good show. saiga's unconverted were only $399 and ak74's were about the same.
