Thread: Took Kelly shooting today!

She had a blast, we both had a good time. And as Chris from Semperfiarms said, I'm Definitely marrying up.

Cool, looks like she had fun.

I need to get my wife back to the range so she can release some of the tension she has right now.

Honestly, Kelly's a real cool girl, she enjoys doing anything that I like, we have a lot in common. Hell, she wants to go "tent" camping for our honeymoon, she loves shooting, and helps me do everything. Follows me everywhere, but I enjoy it, heck, she's spent more time in gun shops with me than most guys I know. I sold her last AR to fund the Optic on one of my rifles, but someone offered me $950 for a dpms sportical, so we are going to build her a new one exactly the way she wants it after the wedding, but first I'm gonna get me one of jericoh's blades for myself.

My girl and I got a lot in common too, been dating for about 4 and half years now, but the one thing I can't get her to come around to is shooting.

Kelly really enjoys it, but what I think she likes the most is the 10/22 and any target that reacts to her hitting it, she picked up on the iron sights really quick, I taught her backwards started her with a red-dot, then a scope, and now irons, but that helped her learn the concepts of shooting first while being able to hit stuff. She was picking of empty 12ga casings at 20yds no problem today, then we moved on to the turtles...and she really liked that.

Yeah I got a few .22s, a take down Browning and a Colt Woodsmen, from my dad that I'd like to let her shoot. She's fired guns before with her granddad but she was a kid and hasn't done so since. Also I don' think she wants to encourage me spending much more money on guns.
