Yeah. I died a little inside after seeing this. It's almost as bad as this:


The real problem is that both these products will sell like hotcakes and provide further evidence for most of the industry to continue to spend money developing products that don't provide anything ground breaking. I'd much rather have EOTech release a new optic that is slimmer/weighs less, or even just one with better battery life. But that's not gonna happen anytime soon.

I already have a tactical lever action. I spray painted my Marlin flat black, and added a bit of Urban Camo coloration to the stock. Dumped the leather sling for a black nylon. Also dumped the 4X scope, and put a $19.95 red dot sight from Kabelas on her. To finish off the package, I go over every .35 Remington rounds brass with a permanent black marker to make them tactical too. I carry this beauty to the mall every chance I get. As long as I'm dressed in my ninja outfit.
