From everything I've read, they're pretty much useless. I guess the Sawyer Extractor is supposed to be effective in certain situations. I just don't know what those situations are.

HE was just testing the water resistance of his gear. YOu can't fault Jack for that one. Most people wouldnt have gone through all that trouble.

Like Cap said.....I was just testing it in a "real world" scenario. Gotta make sure your stuff is going to work when the SHTF
