I moved to gilmer county a few weeks ago and the day I got my new DL I went to the court house and filled my paperwork out for the CCW. The same day I took the paperwork to the jail and got my fingerprints done.

7 Days later permit in hand!!

WOW that was fast.

you mean the fingerprints? If so yes they were electronic and done in the room where the holding cells are for gilmer county. there was blood all over the floor from some poor bastard and it smelled like bleach.

$16 to the court
$29 to the jail for fingerprints.

I got mine in three days in barrow county.

It took me 3 months to get mine. I went to get mine 2 weeks before they started with the electronic fingerprints. I should have waited. My wife got hers with the electronic fingerprints and it was back in a week.
