    Default Bug Help

We have recently acquired an infestation of bugs in our house that we can't seem to get rid of. There are German or Asian cockroaches(not the big flying b*stards, I'm aware those aren't going anywhere) and a smaller black bug I haven't been able to identify yet. No matter how much cleaning we do, spraying we do, or traps we put out they won't seem to go away. Little fuckers are really starting to piss me off because they seem to have been able to get inside the fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. Any exterminators out there or other folks with experience that could help me out? My parents mentioned "roach biscuits" but said you had to find pure boric acid(?) that was pretty hard to locate. Any other ideas?

You used to be able to go to a hardware store and get boric acid. I haven't bought any in a while but I did some looking and 20 MULE TEAM BORAX (the old school cleanser is supposed to be 99.5 % borate) has worked for some folks. Used to live in an old house in college and one of our roomates came up with a mic of boric acid/bisquick/water. He made a dough, rolled it into balls and scattered them under the house and in the attic. No more roaches. Note most bug powders are like 20% concentration so you would cut the 20 mule team a good bit. Look around on the web. This seems to be favored by some gardening people for pest control in the yard/garden when it is cut way back in concentration. Hope I'm some help.
