Snip....."Echoing comments by President Barack Obama and others in the administration, Morton said that Arizona's new law targeting illegal immigration is not "good government." The law makes it a crime to be in the state illegally and requires police to check suspects for immigration paperwork.

Morton said his agency will not necessarily process illegal immigrants referred to them by Arizona officials. The best way to reduce illegal immigration is through a comprehensive federal approach, not a patchwork of state laws, he said.

"I don't think the Arizona law, or laws like it, are the solution," Morton said."

That's not cool at all. A lot of us don't "like" Obama's ideas but we're all subject to the law.


Without going in depth, this is a case of....dare I say it....."dick riding."

An imigrant is an imigrant, we all were imigrants at one time or another. Do I have a problem with imigrants in general, no as long as they have followed the proper ways set by our forefathers. Should an illegal be cut any slack? Hail no. But in todays world they are. I dont have a problem with Arizonas new law, I have a problem with obummer saying it shouldnt be enforced.

WE should deport ALL ILLEGALS and should have been doing so for decades. The AZ immigrant law is a step in the right direction, but we have a President who is not only a NON-leader, he is as UN-American as they come!!

Actually the AZ law is mostly word for word to laws already at the federal level that are not being enforced.
