Default I cant hear anything out of my right ear

Seriously!!!! WTF? I have a doctors appointment at 3:30.

I tried the old peroxide in the ear and let it sit till it stops bubbling then again. I did it 4 times. The first three times a little stuff came out but the fourth time only clear liquid (the peroxide) came out. Still cant hear!!!! Its like cupping your hand over your ear and making a tight seal. Its driving me freaking crazy!!!!

    back now.

Ive had an issue with my right ear since I was about 12 years old. It gets pluged up sometimes because of my inner ear tube being bent at the wrong angle. Every 6 months or so I do some peroxide drops in it for a few minutes to keep it cleaned out. Well it didnt work this time. they had to go in with a really sharp pick tool and scrape it out! Then they irrigated just to make sure it was good to go.

So now I can hear again

    Wow...that's peculiar.

I wonder if I have a similar problem, but not as severe.

My right ear will sometimes go out from noise, like a busting speaker. But the doctor's say my left ear is the one that is damaged through testing.

I also noticed that my inner ears are different shapes.

    Glad you're better.

thanks guys! I didnt make it any better by playing drums for 22 years and the first 8 years not wearing hearing protection. I always do now but the damage is done to me left ear drum. It has been torn so many times while on tour that it has permanent scar tissue and I have lost about 30% in that ear. So today when my "good" ear went out I was freaking big time.

I've got the same problem. I don't know if it's because of being bent wrong inside or not, but I get a lot of build up and they plug up sometimes. Last time I went because I couldn't hear, turned out I had a ruptured ear drum, a fungal infection, and MRSA in my ear.

Why the hell did I let it get that bad, you ask? I was up in Forsyth for training for a few weeks, and didn't think it was that serious. Guess I'm too old to be putting off going to the doctor like that anymore.
