    Default 3 wasted hours...

...sitting listening to Georgia DNR folks pontificate so I could get my Georgia hunter's course. Ah well, they were as nice as can be and put out good info, I'm just familiar with what they were teaching. Great info for the kids though. At least I won't have to "attest" to completion this year.

On the plus side, I got the chance to help out GCO at their booth at the GON Blast. Sat and answered questions for two hours or so and met some really nice folks. Found out I wasn't supposed to be carrying, but as they say, concealed means concealed.

You was getting your safety card? I did it when I started hunting again about 6 years ago.

Got the safety card. WTF, 23 years in the service. You'd think that'd qualify you, but not in this state.

Hunters safety course is only 3 hours long now? I think when I took it, it was closer to 6 or 8. I know I have taken it twice before, once in Maine, and once here in Ga.

10 hours total time, but if you take the online portion it is only a 3 hour refresher.
