I got all the way to McDonough before I started hitting any weather. Then the $h!t hit the fan. McD at 2100, it was 2300 by the time I cleared Lakewood Freeway. 2 major back ups was exit 233 on I-75N and there at Lakewood. Once I got past there I was able to maintain 25-30 MPH for the rest of the ride. I even past a snow plow on I-75 in Marietta, what pissed me off was he was just driving and didn't have his blade down. WTF
I made it all the way to my driveway, 0030, but when I slowed down to make the turn I didn't have enough momentum to carry my truck up the slight hill on my driveway. I was able to get the truck straightened out and spun the tires enough to get past my mail box and then back into the ditch in my front yard. the bad thing was we had to unload all the guns and parts there and then carry them up to the house in 5 inches of snow.
At least I made it almost home before I put the truck into the ditch.
I damn sure didn't want to leave my truck sitting on the side of the road with everything in the back.
