it was a really cool store. they had the tents, sleeping bags, and backpacks. BUT they also had wise food storage, shelves of Mtn house, bulk grain, and tons of gear. they even had blast matches in stock on the shelves. I don't think I have ever seen anything else in stock except REI carries Swedish steel occasionally.

if you ever get up this way you should stop in.

Seth, can you do a review of your camping setup? That stove you have is nice!

the stove I have now is old and out of date but I have a snowpeak giga stove. it was at the time the smallest and lightest stove made. not counting the gas about 1/2 the size of a pack of cigarets. I have used it for many miles and once a few hundred feet under ground. I have also used it in -40 deg temp in northern Sweden while ice fishing. that being said sitting in the middle of a frozen lake with wind that will almost knock you over doesnt allow for very efficent stove use. I had to make a wind shield to get it to work.

there is a newer, lighter, hotter, and overall better stove out there by primus. saw it last night in the store listed above. first time I was able to put my hands on it. I would love to have it but not sure I can justify the money to save an Oz of weight....
