Thread: Music Beta by Google

This is too cool. I requested access to the beta and got selected. Nice program. It runs in a browser, took all my songs from iTunes (minus the DRM of course) and uploaded to the google cloud. So, now I can access my complete library from any computer I can log into Google from, including my phone. For the phone, you can choose to have a song DLed to the phone in case you don't have coverage, so you can have a mix of streaming and dled music accessable anytime, anywhere. The limit currently is like 16000 songs, I've got about 3000 so I have a bit more room. Also, they provide free songs according to the criteria you select. Did i mention it is free? The pic is larger in a separate window.

hey dude, what part of Ga are you in? I wanna see the the GA15 seal you did. it got brought back up on that "other" site. I wanna do mine but too scared....

I guess there are limits on multiple user access to protect against file sharing? Or....how does it work?

It is based on your login, so if you don't mind other folks accessing your google account, you can have up to eight devices attached to the system. Of course, if you can access the music, you also have access to emails and documents on that account's cloud.
