I mean seriously, fuck it right up the mag well. When you have to spend hundreds of dollars to a gunsmith to get the fucking thing to work right maybe something is wrong. When you have to buy a $2500 plus custom gun just to get that shit to be carry reliable, maybe it's time to just put the retarded thing to pasture.

You know what I had to do to get any of my Glocks to be field reliable? Open the fucking box and load it.

You know what I had to do to get any of my HK's to be completely trusted for carry? Yeah same fucking thing. I opened the box and loaded it.

You know what you have to do to get a S&W M&P reliable.... yeah you get it.

You know what I've had to do to get any of my 1911's carry reliable? Open the box, take it to the range, shoot 500 rounds, piss and moan that the fucking thing didn't go boom every time, take it to a 'smith, wait a couple weeks, repeat the range shit, take it to the 'smith, rinse and repeat until the fucking thing stops fucking sucking. Which in the case of 2 Kimbers was fucking never. And this was the case for 2 Kimbers, 2 Springfields and 1 RRA.

And how many safeties does a gun need? Seriously? Grips safety, thumb safety and then over the years fucking morons added internal safeties. WTF? You want your gun to not go off then don't gangbang the trigger when you don't want it to go off. At least that JMB schmucktard got shit more correct with the Hi Power. The P35 is about as close to perfection as a 9mm can get.

So, to hell with the 1911. I don't give a shit that it's pretty. What the fuck good is pretty if the shit doesn't work. It's like having a hot red-head that never goes down and doesn't cook. Great for showing your friends, but fucking useless when it's time for business.

Meh, My 1911 worked out of the box reliably, and I like it. Your mileage many very. If you like another weapon, more power to you! I'm libertarian!

Oh, and when I carry mine, it doesn't stick out from my side a foot!

I don't like them, but a lot of people do, and call me wanting holsters, so eventually I will buy one, but never carry one.
