Default One of the many perks interning with the GBI

Shooting one of these bad boys.

It was. I never shot an SBR before and the agent running the course told me that he's not to fond of them, citing that they kick like a mule and are loud as all heck. Honestly I didn't notice much of a difference between my 16" AR and this one.

They were pretty sweet. The guy who runs up their gear knows their stuff, everything they had was solid, with proven equipment. Of course that's to be expected, but it's still nice to see.
