    Default Gainful Employment?

So I graduated college in December and now I'm on the job hunt. Any tips from the employed on gaining a job? I think I've got a pretty decent resume made up (always taking input though!), but I feel like my application gets lost in a pile never to be seen again. Making it worse is this whole newfangled internet thing so there's no person to follow up with or phone number to call. I have a set of sites I visit to look for openings but it's been a few weeks and I haven't got so much as a call.

I think so to. I'm willing to do almost anything at this point, as long as it's a foot in the door.

My degree is in Information Security, so IT related, but my degree is pretty flexible so I'll take an entry level spot almost anywhere at this point.

Anywhere in GA, possibly in TN (I have family up there). Thanks, I had a few prospects today hopefully I hear back from them soon. Been applying to about 7-8 places a day this week.

    Update!

I was applying for a position with an IT consulting firm up in Nashville. I thought I bombed the skill test (50%, 52%, 68%), but I just got a call today from them wanting to set up an interview. Also, my uncle works for an insurance company up in Nashville and they are looking for a claims position, and they want to set up an interview as well!

So looks like I'll be making a tour de force up in Nashville next week. As much as I hate leaving Georgia, Nashville isn't too far and I don't have to have a tragic boating accident if I have to move.
