    Well.... to me the Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle in .308, using M-14 hi-cap mags is the ideal "tactical" bolt action rifle. I doubt we could come up with an improvement, unless we did the adjustible stock, removable handgrips, and lots more rails. But to what end? What senario would this get us thru that something else wouldn't work as well? The AR platform has shown AR15 semi can be sub "minute of an angle" what more could a bolt do, unless you are talking longer ranges - then you need something more than a .223. I'll take my Winchester 70, in .270 and do it just fine, out way past the .223 range. Good Question!!

    I don't care for a lot of stuff on my rifle---my cz carbine in 762x39 works good in the areas I hunt
    it's twin in 223 is my varmint gun
    I was trying to start something didn't work
    help me get these slackers posting
