Thread: Found a jeep!

my new DD (thanks to bankruptcy )

Its an 84 with ps and pb, 4.2 and a T176. It has the cleanest 4.2 ive ever seen. Runs great, no rust at all on the body and frame and it has leather seats from what looks like a toyota. Mounted to the factory jeep frames. I hate the diamond plate with a passion and it will be coming off. And it is rino lined on the inside. Tires are brand new, still have the blue on them. 35X12.50 (I am going to put 33X12.50 on it though)

I think I got a good deal at $3000

I was at the gas station this morning and a guy offered me 4K cash on the spot for it. haha, I said sorry buddy it took me 4 months to find this one.

That is true also. I think you made the right choice in keeping it.

The only thing that could make it a better deal is if it was a CJ.5
33's will be a great swap. There aint a better engine for Jeep.
And yes the diamond plate has to go.

I have had plenty of cj-5 in my day, no thanks. 7 has 10" more in the wheel base, a lot sturdier vehicle. Not to mention that makes the bed area 10" longer to store things.
