The 1st Town Hall Meeting took place 4/2/09; however, I am trying to help get the word out regarding this vitally important event coming up in March 2010. Please contact Skip Coryell at the contact information below.

Our Mission

The mission of the Second Amendment March is to galvanize the courage and resolve of Americans; to petition our elected officials against establishing anti-gun legislation; and to remind America that the Second Amendment is necessary to maintain our right to self defense.

It is the one right that protects all others.
We will accomplish our mission by a centralized, peaceful march in Washington DC, the United States Capitol, supported by satellite marches to State Capitols and other cities all across America.

I recall reading about George Washington and Valley Forge during one of the darkest times of the America Revolution. The situation was bleak, almost to the point of despair, but General Washington pressed on and did something bold. He attacked a superior force in the dead of winter with half frozen and starved citizen soldiers and he won.

Once again, things look bleak, and many people are demoralized. They feel oppressed by political tyrants. They feel weak and starved of hope. Now is the time to do something bold.

Now is the time ... to march.

The Second Amendment March held the first of many town hall meetings last week in Dorr, Michigan. We are already planning others all across America. They will bring people together, give them hope, and courage and help them to realize that they are not alone in the fight to restore and maintain our Second Amendment.

Folks, in these hard times, we don't have the luxury of despair. All we have is the necessity of working hard no matter how discouraged we feel.

Above all always remember that the Second Amendment is not about politics. It's not left; it's not right; It's America; it's freedom at its finest.

At the founding of our country, we were graced by people like George Washington who were reluctant to serve. He served his country out of a sense of duty and honor. He didn't fight to stay in power after the revolution. He just wanted to go back home to Mount Vernon and farm. But his country needed him, so he stayed on to be our first President. Our country needs people like that right now, honest, hard-working Americans who can give of their time. You could be one of those people. Please call me if you would like to organize a Second Amendment Town Hall meeting in your community, and we'll help you get started.
