Thread: Site upgrade....PLEASE READ!

Thought I'd let you guys know about the move. Looks like an upgrade to help stop the DDOS attacks.

We have some exciting news!

Your web site which is hosted with URLJet.com and located on server7.urljet.com is getting an upgrade.

These changes will make your site run faster than ever AND provide protection 24/7 from DDos attacks (distributed denial-of-service) through our new DDos mitigation hardware.

Your site will be moved to the new hardware sometime between May 29th through June 7th between 9PM-7AM. You will receive a courtesy email to let you know the move is under way. After the site is moved you may see an odd looking page that says “welcome to apache”. This is because your computer/modem/router most likely still has your sites OLD IP cached. yes, i too hope it goes smooth. I am an admin on a waterfowling site and we had not so smooth server move last year. fingers crossed!!
