Default Experimenting with Cold Blue on a Keltec PF-9

So I decided to try out some cold blue on the PF-9 and to darken this kinda nasty scrape I had on the belt clip. Here's the results

    Compared to

and before LARue asks about why my slide is different colors like he did for my Colt's barrel on my Elzetta thread, it's a combination of oil to protect the slide, oil having been removed by my hands, oil from my hands, and finger prints

Looks good to me. I tried cold blue on a old bolt action I had and it came out ok.

Your Colt's barrel looked like it had rust around the M203 cut. Not the whole barrel.

I guess it's just from heat where that part of the barrel is more narrow.

    But the pistol looks good.
