    Default Patiently Waiting..........

For USPS that is. I have a threaded barrel for my Beretta 21a on the way from Tornado Tech. Pics will follow.

I was going to thread the original but the rifling was trashed. I got a great deal on the gun but didn't bother to check the bore since the outside was in such great shape. Now I realize it wasn't as good of a deal as I thought.

    Have you threaded other barrels?

I have a gunsmith friend who does. He actually just finished a 700 build for me about 2 weeks ago though I do have a lathe but I am still learning.

ETA: I was going to buy a new barrel and have it done but Brownells has been out of stock for the past 3 months. Beretta actually referred me to them when I asked about a replacement.

Tornado Tech has them in stock and ready to go for $205 shipped. Skip the Hi-desert dog barrels the adapters are pressed on and there are numerous instances of them coming off.

I had a guy on another site send me some pix of an adapter that came off.

How hard was the barrel pin to get out?

Barrel pin was the easy part getting the latch fitted was the most difficult bit.

I apologize for the focus. The only person I had handy didn't know how to operate my camera.
