Thread: Sig P226 Tacops

Has anyone had any experience with these?

On paper it looks like the end all be all 9mm pistols, fiber-optic front sight, rear night sights, 4 20 round mags, DA/SA, short reset trigger, and so on.

I'm seriously thinking about selling my West German P220 and try to get one of these. I love my P220, don't get me wrong, but the heel release is starting to make me miss the magazine release button. Plus only 7 round capacity kinda stinks.

hummm... I am not sure I would consider it to be the be all pistol....it's nice but what makes it better than a regular 226? the sights? personally I would not want a fiber optic front sight for anything I might have to use in a low light. it would have to be self illuminated. with no ambient light it would be useless.

I do wonder how it fits 20 rounds though? are they extended mags? I have a 226 and I love it. best suppressor host there is IMHO. that being said there is no way I would pay $1k for it!

ah I see now! they are just extended mags....

might have to pick up a few dozen of these.
