Sometime go to youtube and look for a Knife Test video of the Busse Battle Mistress. You won't believe the torture that sharp piece of metal stood up to.

But thats still a hell of a lot of money for a knife

    Busse Combat Knife Company: Knives

    The knife in question:

    or the $597 version:

Supply and demand is a bitch. THey only make one design at a time and when its gone thats it, no more. Thats one of the reasons the price is so steap. That and they are **** near indestructable.

I've watched several videos of this type of hunting and knew guys in South FL that loved it. The idea is to have a lond enough blade to hit the heart, about 8-10 inches seemed to be ideal, especially for large hogs. They call them big knives "sticker" knives and they have to have a great point and be very sharp. You will being aiming low directly behind it's front leg near the "elbow" because the hide and shield is thinner there and that's where the heart hides. Try to get someone to video it man, it should be wild. Good luck!

If you put the pig on his side and cut its throat, you wont need a foot-long $300 knife.
