Hi!

so umm, I haven't been hunting in over 15 years. so where do I start?

Pick up a GA 2010-2011 season and regulation book and read up om it some.

Will you be hunting in a WMA?

almost have to. I looked at a hunting club to join that was posted on the HTF and almost pulled the trigger on that, but after discussing it with the wife it was hard to justify the cost for the maybe 2-3 times i might use it. Not to mention living in the burbs of Atlanta there isnt much close by.

growing up in the country we could hunt off the back porch. Quite different now...

I only have public land to hunt myself.

i know you are pretty far south but where are some good ones for squirrel, rabbits, turkey,and pigs?

I mostly hunt on Fort Stewart. I've been to Big Hammock WMA, but never hunted there. I was using the range.
