Thread: Georgia arms

I went to GA this morning. Had to park on the grass. Their "sales room" is about 10x10, and there were about 10 of us in there. One guy had his stuff loaded on a cart. 4 or 5 ammo boxes on the bottom. I heard his total, over $2,600..... Thing I noticed was that they had stuff in stock but very few primers. I particularly noted quite a few cans of powder, lots of .22 ammo, and I saw 9mm subsonics under the glass counter. The guy behind the counter indicated they were using most all their primers in their own production. They have about 60 employees. I wanted a box (300) hard cast 250g .45 Colt RNFP, and they had them, same $28.00 as last couple times.

I guess I missed what happened. Were they closing up shop or something?

Our gov. had decided to scrap used brass instead of selling it - that would have cut G.A.'s business in half they talked about laying off 30 of the 60 employees. Now that the gov. changed plans everything is hunkydory.

Cool....yeah, I had heard about the brass scappring idea. Didn't put 2 and 2 toghether though. Thanks!
