My 458 SOCOM SBR

The lower is from Spikes Tactical. I cant rember the manufacturer of the stripped upper, I sold the complete upper a while ago. I ordered the barrel and bolt then built the rest from parts I had laying around mostly.

so any chance of me replicating somthing close without the scope? I have about $2500 to try but bullets are hard to come by. Write me a recipe or somthing please.

SBR lower of your choosing (thats a spikes with a CTR stock)
Upper of your choice
Call Marty at Teppo Jutsu (SP?) and tell him you want a 10.5" barrel. I had a Vortex for that upper but normally ran without it. I prefered the thread protector.
Rail is a DD 7.0
Marty will give you the directions on opening up the ejection port to accomidat the larger brass.
The lowpro gas block came from CMMG. Don't remeber the size but it was the largest that they make.

For the most part its like building any other AR except the barrel is bigger.

Thank you man. Marty and me are already corresponding about a project and I'm sorry I'm copying you its just thats the best looking rifle I've ever seen. I cant thank you enough. I will send you some pics for sure. I think the only difference will be, I'm going to put a blade on mine. I live in New Orleans and the pig hunting is great in St. Bernard Parish.
