I shoot straight sometimes. Its usually by accident but it does happen. Smarty pants. If you could keep the doughnuts out the way you could see that.

Any rules as far as the holster is concerned? I want to use my daily carry rig, but it's just an open top IWB, no thumb strap (what's that, level 3?) or anything.

hey,

Holsters with thumb straps slow you down, so what you list sound great. I shoot out there with bigjimmy as well.

An inside the waist band holster will be just fine. You don't need any retention with an ISB. With an OWB holster you still don't need any retention, the holster just has to keep the gun in when you flip it upside down.
