Walmart guy says he's been working there for a long time and they stopped selling Cold blue kits years ago. I guess I have to hit up Hi Caliber next weekend.

Well crap.............
Hold My Beer and Watch This!
Brownell's sells a kit with the drill bit,tap and two bead sights for pretty cheap. While you're at it,order your cold blue.As for as cutting, hacksaw or bandsaw may be better.Even with tape, cutter may still leave marks and you have to be careful not to let it run the first few times around. The barrel may start to taper where you want to cut and if the cutter wheel runs,it's hard to get it back in the right groove.Measure from the breach face to get your lenght. All shotguns are measured from the bolt face with the action closed.

I want to install a fiber optic though....think I'll just buy that and pay a smith to do everything else.
I'm just cutting and blueing.
But I got to find some cold blue.
Drill and tap and install your fiber sight. You're taking the fun out of it.![]()
The fun of paying more for tools ...yeah =)
