I think I've convinced the wife to go camping. But, I don't have a lot of disposable income to go out and buy all new gear. So does anybody have anything they don't use anymore and would be willing to part with? Let me know.

what all are you looking for?
Pretty much everything. I had a small 3-man tent (which is all the wife, boy, and I will need), but it apparently grew legs and walked away. So tent, sleeping bags/bivvy's, water filter, stove or fire grate, cookware, etc. I'm probably going to take advantageof my 40% Bass Pro discount to get most of it, but I wanted to see if i could possibly get some higher quality gear used for the same amount or less then the new Bass Pro stuff.
I wanted to go out to Fort McCallister's "back country sites" which you have to hike a mile to get to and have nothing but a fire circle, but I'm afraid that's going to be too much for the wife and boy who have never been camping. So it looks like the first couple of times out will have to be car camping. So weight won't be an issue then but it will eventually. I'd like to get to a point to where we could hike out and camp for a few nights utilizing only what we could carry in on our backs.
