I got this jacket for Christmas but it hasn't been cold enough to actually use it until recently. I'll get some pictures up as soon as I take some.
The stuff I really like about the jacket so far:
Quality - Everything is well made, YKK zippers, some high end nano technology fabric, good stitching, etc.
Functionality - Everything seems to have a purpose on this jacket, there's nothing you don't need and nothing missing (based on my observations anyway).
Low profile - My jacket is OD, and beside having the two patch panels, it doesn't scream "tacticool" and the only logo on the outside is a small 1x1in patch that can be removed.
Stuff that I'm not so hot about so far:
Price - TAD makes good stuff, but man is it expensive. I was lucky enough to recive this as a gift, but even still it's hard not to forget how much this costs. Granted, there are jackets that cost as much if not more, but most of those are dress jackets/sport coats/etc.
Hood - Having a hood is awesome, but it seems kinda bulky. I haven't messed around with the two draw string pulls that tighten up the hood, so that might help it. Also the hood can roll up, but I have no idea how to do so. The only thing that came with the jacket was a few little pamphlets about how high tech this fabric, nothing about the features/functionality of the jacket.
Documentation - Expanding on my previous point here. I know it seems silly, it's a damn jacket it shouldn't need an instruction manual. However for such a costly jacket with all these specific pockets and compartments, it would of been nice to have just a little thing just going over the jacket. Yeah there's the Internet and I'm sure there's at least half a dozen YouTube videos about using the jacket, but if you are going to drop almost four c-notes for a casual jacket, the lest they could do is throw in a little piece of paper.
Overall:
The few problems I have with it aren't deal breakers. The jacket still rocks and it pretty freakin sweet.
I'll try to get some pictures up tomorrow. If you guys have any questions, just ask!
