I'm working on one (slowly). I'd like to see some gear lists as well.

The bag is a Camelbak BFM:

Finally got my Eagle Industries Escape and Evasion Bag. I absolutely love this thing. It is very adaptable and your options are limitless.

The Main compartment is fully lined with PALS webbing for attaching various pouches such as Medical Pouches and GP Pouches. There is a hidden Velcro sealed pocket perfect for concealing documents or even a side arm.

The front pouch is fully lined with PALS webbing. I have utilized this area for a battle load, GP Pouch stuffed with a bunch of necessities, Multi Tool Pouch, etc.

On the opposite side of the bag is a velcro sealed compatment designed to stow a side arm. It is perfect for my Glock 19.

On both ends of the bag are pouch perfect for securing water bottles, Nalgeen bottles and smoke grenades.

There are straps on the bottom of the bag that you can use to secure a poncho or moderately sized sleeping bag.

All in all, this bag is perfect for my emergency needs. I just recently got the bag and I am exploring my options with how I am going to configure it. Right now I plan to have firepower, extra ammo, illumination devices, multil tool, rations, $hit tickets, hydration and cold weather gear. I'm sure I will throw some more stuff in there, but for now I am concentrating on the necessities.

I'm thinking of starting another BOB, based on a medium ALICE pack w/ frame. I got a great deal on one, nearly new, at a yard sale...price $5. I have added a couple of milsurp canteens and covers, with ALICE clips. Anybody have any ideas for this one?

Here are some pics of my Eagle Industries Escape and Evasion Bag. The main compartment which is empty in the picture will contain a med pouch and chow. The two external pockets will be used for water and signal smoke. The Front compartment is where I keep my Magazines, Multi-tool, Knife, Flashlight, Chem Lights, and a few other necessaties. And of course, there is the pistol compartment.

I am liking it so far. Like I said, pretty adaptable. Its gonna take some time to get it the way I want it, but I know the criteria I want to follow, so it shouldn't be to painful.

I have a regular BOB in my truck but I do have one for the bike as well...

    Emergency blanket x2
    Fire starter kit
    First aid kit
    Spare visor
    Tshirt/shorts/socks/gloves
    wet wipes
    streamlight
    towel
    Gorp/jerky/glucose gels

The Ninja has saddle bags, as well as tank and tail bags, so I have lots of space for other stuff as well.

Before I put toether any bag I will have my family with me , so no motorcycle. I have a bug out location so I really don't need a bag. just my rifle and pistol to get there. When I do ge to my location I don't need a thing. Plenty of ammo, more guns and alot of food. You can't live out of a bag long.
